1. Zero Application Telemetry

The native TallyMCP binary (tally-mcp.exe) contains zero analytics tracking, zero crash reporting telemetry, and zero phone-home mechanisms. It runs as a local process strictly communicating with your local TallyPrime instance over loopback (127.0.0.1:9000) and your chosen AI host client over stdio.

2. Ephemeral Edge Logging

When visiting this website or downloading releases from our distribution API, edge infrastructure processes transient connection IP addresses solely for DDoS mitigation and rate-limiting. IP addresses are hashed using an in-memory rotating salt and never persisted to database or disk.

3. Cloud MCP Host vs Local Model Flows

When using a cloud AI client (such as Claude Desktop), accounting queries and retrieved financial records are transmitted to your LLM provider as part of your conversation context under your own terms with that provider. For 100% air-gapped operations, configure local models via Ollama or LM Studio where zero bytes leave your machine.

4. Security & Open Source Audits
